It all started out of the continuous state of being skint. A book written about Amsterdam Pubs needed photographs to compliment the story, but extensive research burned a deep hole in the wallet. This dreadful state left no other option than to take it into one’s own hands. Thus a passion was born. Now the photographer walks from one waterhole to another to catch the inhabitants, keeping his eyes open while en route. Needless to say that this only increased the onslaught on the subject's wallet.
